The 14th CIC (2015) to Be Held on July 21-23

On February 11, the press conference of the 14th China Internet Conference (CIC) was held in Beijing.
Mr. LU Wei, the Secretary-general of Internet Society of China (ISC) announced that the 14th CIC will be held on July 21-23 in Beijing at Beijing International Convention Center. As a civil society with highly reputation and social credit in Chinese Internet community, Internet Society of China paid great attention on promoting Internet industry development environment and was actively devoted to building Internet cooperation and exchange platform and driving Internet developing in a standardized, healthy and sustainable way, Mr. LU said. Relying on its advantages in resources and platform, ISC has successfully hosted 13 sessions of China Internet Conference, one of the brand events in China Internet industry. It is believed that the 14th CIC will be another remarkable event with the support of all work of life.
Ms. YANG Yixin, the Deputy Secretary-general of ISC announced the theme of the 14th CIC, that is, “Industrial Convergence, Interconnected and Shared by All—to Explore Internet Economy New Normal and Look ahead the Next Five Years”. She said that as the convergence of Internet and the traditional industries moved forward and China is at the juncture of 12th “Five Year” and the 13th “Five Year” project, the 14th CIC will concentrate the industrial power to hold joint discussion on Internet development. Also, she introduced that this conference will include six plates around the theme, that is:
1.Future trend. To explore China Internet development trends in the following five years from the international vision.
2.Industrial convergence. To explore industrial Internet development from the aspects of virtual network operator, energy Internet, Internet finance, Internet medical and agriculture Internet etc.
3.Mass innovation. To discuss the Internet innovative development by getting together the innovative and startup group from SMEs, VCs and incubation parks etc.
4.Legal construction. To promote Internet legal mechanism by conducting discussions on Netizen rights and interests protection, Internet security, Internet copyright issues etc.
5.Internet life. To explore how could Internet better serve the public around the topics of e-commerce, O2O, application innovation, mobile games and self-media etc.
6.Advanced technology. To focus on advanced Internet technology and provide an exchange platform for the technique researcher, the industrial analysts and the geeks.
At the press conference, it is introduced that ISC will host “China Internet week” event during Milano Expo in June cooperating with relevant agencies. Also, CIC Silicon Valley Session will be held in the United States in September. All of these activities are aiming to build the platform for China’s companies participating in international exchange and cooperation as well as to expand oversea market.
Mr. ZHANG Yan, the Deputy Secretary-general of the People’s Government of Ningbo city, introduced that 2015 CIC E-commerce Session & 1st Session of International Cross-border E-commerce Expo will be held on June 28-30 in Ningbo city. As the “National E-commerce Pilot City” and “National E-commerce Demonstration City”, Ningbo city takes e-commerce as the emerging and pillar industry in city economy of strategic importance. Therefore, Ningbo built “Ningbo International E-commerce Industrial Park” and “China Internet Oversea Talents Innovation Park”, providing all-round policy and financial support for the companies in these parks.
